Mason is a city which sits in the southwest corner of Warren County. Mason is known as the town which sits in the middle of the Cincinnati – Dayton metropolitan region of Ohio. The town is named after the Revolutionary War veteran William Mason who was sold 640 acres of Mason in an auction in 1815. Mason is home to many entertainment areas including Kings Island amusement park, and the Lindner Family Tennis Center which is home of the Western & Southern Open.

Mason Historical Society – The Mason Historical Society dedicated to preserving the heritage of Mason, OH for all future residents. The Historical Society is housed in the Alverta Green Museum. The museum is named after Alverta Green who was a notable antique collector who donated her home and the artifacts inside to the historical society in 1988. The society also hosts a series of events such as ice cream socials and cemetary walks.
